Arriving by car, from Christchurch Airport, go West on Durey Road and take 3rd exit on the roundabout onto Memorial Ave. Follow SH1 to Rakaia (about 40min.). Take a right after the big salmon statue onto Elizabeth Ave. Straight over both roundabouts and continue on Rakaia Barrhill Methven Road for 33.6km. Turn right on Back Track and follow the slight left onto Barkers Road for 2.7km. Turn right onto Hall St. Turn left on the main road (Highway SH77) at the Mobil petrol station. Follow until you see Dubliner pub on the left and turn right opposite it onto Bank Street. The Lodge is located at the end of the road on the left. A car park is available at the back.
